Adventure Life involved in sustainable tourism

In the July 2010 issue of Miller-McCune, Adventure Life is featured as a company that utilizes community-based tourism in a comprehensive story about sustainable tourism.Brian Morgan, founder of the adventure travel company based out of Missoula, Montana, explains his reasons for including community-based tourism in Adventure Life trips. Morgan tells writer Todd Pitock:“When I created my first tours, I wanted to empower a local community and work with them,” Morgan recalled. “That’s as ‘eco’ as you can get. It’s the local community that needs to protect and conserve the area, and it’s not my role to tell them how to do it.”
