Spring Island Old Tabby Links on WorldGolf.com

Spring Island, a 3,000-acre island community in the South Carolina Lowcountry 25 minutes from Hilton Head and Beaufort, and its Old Tabby Links golf course, is the focus of a nice review by Lisa Allen that posted today on WorldGolf.com.Lisa discusses which hole she considered the courses 'signature'. Through the front 9, Lisa writes that she was leaning towards hole #9 with the signature tabby ruins and the long range view across the marsh to Port Royal Sound. By the end of her round, though, she changed her mind to hole #17 - a par three well protected by a pond on the left and marsh to the right with a gallery full of watchful birds.9-w-ruins-soliday-low-res1si-hole-17-low-res
