The restaurant at The Ranch Club, the premiere family-friendly Missoula golf community, is offering a special menu on Valentine’s Day. Treat that someone special in your life to oysters on the half shell, lobster tail or veal chops, and a banana split, for a fixed price of $130 per couple. This is the second year The Ranch Club’s restaurant has offered a unique Valentine’s menu, and last year was a sell-out. Reservations are being accepted now for seating from 5:00 – 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 14. If you have not yet become a member of The Ranch Club, do not worry, the restaurant is open-to-all. The salad will be arugula with fried banana, toasted pine nuts, grilled fennel, and anise-honey vinaigrette. For the main course, diners have a choice of butter-poached lobster tail with vanilla-ginger butter sauce, truffle whipped potatoes, sautéed asparagus; or, fig stuffed veal chops, black truffle-fried garlic risotto, sautéed baby carrots and espresso spiked demi-glace. To simply call the dessert a banana split seems like a disservice. This special banana split will have a chocolate tart, banana-vanilla bean crème patisserie, macerated strawberries, port glaze, grilled pineapples salsa and peanut tuille. Choose veal or lobster tail; the price is fixed at $130 per couple.The Ranch Club’s extensive wine list will be available, and options abound by either the glass or the bottle to accompany this fine meal.
