USA Today mentions Spring Island as Carolina real estate hot spot
USA Today recently included South Carolina golf community Spring Island in a story about coastal Carolina real estate.
Spring Island, along with Isle of Palms, Hilton Head and Kiawah, is situated in South Carolina’s lowcountry, which extends from Charleston to the Georgia border. Writer Larry Olmsted describes the lowcountry:
It has the ritziest real estate and a country club lifestyle with top-rated golf courses, elaborate tennis facilities and gated communities.
That sounds like Spring Island, the lowcountry golf community which offers the finest real estate in the region. South Carolina golf course homes, featuring views of the world-class, Arnold Palmer-designed Old Tabby Links golf course, are available at Spring Island. If you’re looking for a South Carolina waterfront home, at the edge of deep water, on ponds, creeks or marshes, you can find it at Spring Island. As for Spring Island’s tennis facility, it features six Har-Tru courts, a new pavilion and a pro shop, not to mention programs run by the staff tennis pro.
Spring Island is located 20 minutes from Beaufort, which regularly makes “best places to retire” lists. Hilton Head, 30 minutes from Spring Island, hosts the Heritage golf tournament, which is also a stop on the PGA Tour.
